You did... :y When I think of Turkey though, I do not think of snow.... ::) ::)
southern touristic parts dont see snow , mostly rain in winter , but Ankara (capitol) is north and have 950m elevation so, winters are a bit harsh..

Wife and I tried to visit Bodrum last October but got rained off. They couldn't even dock the ferry at Kos so we got our money back. Ankara would have been a bit too far for a day trip but maybe some time :)!

thanks Banjax.. its an old city really.. known history goes more than 10K years.. and take the capitol position from [ch304]stanbul in 1923 after the young republic kicked the ottoman dynasty.. which some power centers and religious masses dont accept and try to continue the debate..
