Title: Tomorrows weather?
Post by: Amigo on 05 February 2011, 20:42:24
No secret i find the simplest of computer tasks a challenge including checking the weather. I want to go to Newark autojumble tomorrow. All i can find is if i click on Sunday 6th Derby & E.midlands it tells me rain will spread from N. Wales to the S. Lakes?
Can someone...anyone who uses these things check just how messy it's going to be in Newark tommorow please? Guy. ::)

I believe it's going to be wet  :).  I  spent many a happy day wandering round Newark AutoJumble in the wet, when I was looking for parts for car (see left)

Just get yourself anice steaming mug of tea a bacon sarnie and enjoy  ;D

Happy hunting

(don't believe the weatherman, bet it rains )  ;D

I think the front that has caused (is causing) all the rain in North Wales/North Midlands today is due to edge North tomorrow, before heading back South on Monday, so you may get away with a dry, cloudy, but blustery day. :y

Cheers folks. Cloudy or light rain is ok. Not too fussed about the rain myself but the lower turnout from stallholders & a petrol tank for a 1966 Mk1 Cortina estate is'nt easy to find. I've been offered a good'un but it's £120 + p&p so would like to see if i can find another. I'll take the Cortina as you save a whole £1 parking in the Classic area.
I'm like a kid in a sweet shop @ Newark. Last year friends had to almost drag me away from a bloke selling a really tidy Fizzie..Yamaha FS1E for £650, i already had him down to £500 but i'm a bit bigger than i was @ 16!!!! ;D

Evening Roland. Is that a Caterham/Westie(Kevin Wood on here has one)Lotus? Anyway starting again March the 3 Graces Yorkshire (Mk2 Consul, Zephyr/Zodiac have a sunday afternoon meet @ the Stockyard (Stocky) on the 3rd sunday just for a couple of hours. Sometimes only 5 or 6 of us attend other times the place is packed with english, yank if some of the Manchester/Chesterfield/Sheffield crews turn up, kit cars are equally welcome as are bikes etc. You can have a pint if not driving but coffee & tea is available or you can have a roast dinner if you like. Child & family friendly & you'll meet some decent like minded folk.
Here's a little clip from last year, mine's the yellow & white one.

Hi Guy, it's neither, it's a Locost  :)  Technically it's not a kit car as myself and a friend built from the ground up, (built two).  Taught ourselves to weld, built the chassis, fabricated all the panels etc.  Put a build diary on the web http://www.Lumby.freeserve.co.uk Certainly brings a smile to the face when driving  :)

Your car looks brill !  When I got married, many moons ago, my contribution was to book the wedding cars, Two Zephyrs a Zodiac and a Rolls Royce.

Thanks for the invite, might just take you up on that  :y

No pleasing me weatherwise. I can handle the cold but at the height of summer when everyone says it's such a lovely day i'm sweltering in the humidity & hate it. When everyone else is cold this time of year i'm content.
My thermostat must be knackered. God bless the electric fan! :y
