.. so whats a useless student to do? Take photos of course! Decided to dig my SLR out and have a play...

I used the industry standard of resting the camera on the window frame for stability on the 30 second exposure ::)

As I was taking one, I think one driver thought they were, it had been red for a considerable time but went flying though, only just missing two cars :o

Acton Main Line
It will be on Crossrail, so that should help the value of my flat! :)

This is one of my favorites, at my last job loads of us were keen photographers, and this was what i submitted for night:

I got the orange tint and effect, but stuffing my Maglite torch into a Sainsburys bag!

Lots of fun to be had taking photographs at night IMHO. :y
