I think it's been mentioned on an earlier post, but he really is like a young Fred Dibnah and could have a good future on TV because he does have a nice gentle presentation manner. :y

That's just what I said to swmbo as I settled, comfy to watch and ended up 'resting my eyes' as a result she changed channel....'I was watching that' being ignored... ::) ::) ::)

Just watched it. A great programme, why cant we have more quality programmes like this on TV ? Its like a breath of fresh air.
Guy could have a whole new career starting off with this programme.
I suspect that bikes will always be his first love though.

probably tho one of the safest pieces of telly on the box -

very likable and enthusiastic host - check
daft accent - check
beautiful scenery - check

stick it somewhere in primetime and its literally guaranteed not to fail i think its known in the biz as a "Dibnah"  ;D

doesnt make it a bad show, however - but more programmes like it? nah - one at a times enough  :y

Knows how to ride the TT course too. I'll wager those seventies sideburns slow him down a bit though..... ::) ::) ::) ;)...Is he the spawn of "Rocket Ron Haslam?...... ;)
