I don't mind her music particularly but as the parent of a 10-year old girl, I am becoming increasingly disturbed by the graphic sexuality of some of these videos. My daughter wants to download videos on to her iPod, but I find I need to check them before I give the go ahead. The arty types who make these videos must be aware that they have a very young fan base, yet they seem to relish their role in the sexualisation of pre-pubescents. Not too happy about the sitiuation, TBH.  >:( :(

good point NB, they do go a bit far, but then as you say its the parents responsibility not the artists and if it helps sell it thats all the record company cares about really  :o

Personally I like her music normally but this one is rubbish.

If you're going to market yourself on the fringe of normality you ruin it by doing a normal song.  Like this.  Thumbs down from me.

yep, because "poker face" was such a bleeding edge-avant garde artwork  :-?

shes a popular artist writing popular songs, nothing wrong with that but i'd hardly call her "fringe of normality" because she wears funny wigs and gets her paps out once in a while  ;D

she is the very definition of normal for her line of work, surely trying to shock as a female pop star is like getting up early if you're a postie? or being australian if you're a bar tender?  :o

You must live in MadHattersville if LG is normal for you?   :o

Besides, every star has their own qwerk, LG's was to dress outrageously and produce songs which were different, even by the industry's standards.  The same has happened to Ellie Goulding who came onto the scene with an amasing style which many including me really liked.  Like LG her latest song is, well, normal.  I dont like it.  Both artist's talents are way better than their last releases and they do not do them justice.  Sorry but they get C- for effort from me at the moment.  Even if Ellie Goulding is  :-* :-*

Saw a clip of the live performance of 'Born this way' at the Grammys. Gotta hand it to the fruitcake, with all that leaping around etc, the vocal was faultless. She wasn't 'lip-syncing' either, I looked for that.

Acoustic 'Poker Face' from Glastonbury:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-R_OHpMbQVM&feature=related
(Finaly gets going at 2:00)

Edit: The above link may be a little NWS.

I dunno.. without ridiculous makeup she's actually very attractive if you ask me: http://www.wmagazine.com/images/celebrities/2007/10/cear_lady_gaga_01_h.jpg

Or even better, before she was famous: http://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2009/05/16/article-1183174-04EDA091000005DC-923_468x427.jpg
