At work last night gets a phone call about 11 ish. Anyway my youngest boy and everyone was downstairs watching tv, now my house has cameras' at every angle so all the cars can be seen. Anywho a bloke comes down with a coke can in his hand, sprinkles it all over the front of the MINI, walks past two cars and then sprinkles it all over the front of the van. Anyway my youngest boy ran out there after him, although he had a large head start, so he ran back home, just as my eldest boy was getting in, so they jumped in the MINI found him and gave him what he deserved. Which I would've done had I been there, cleaned both of them yesterday too >:(
What goes through peoples mind to just sprinkle coke over someone's cars?

Couldn't you have swept it into a line and snorted it? Seems a bit of a waste?

well it is as cem said envy unfortunately..you have two nice looking cars and you also have something these nerderwells could never have....do you rent your sons out??? :y
-
A bored, stupid, and immature brain wasn at work there Del! ::) ::)
Sorry to hear this, but at least it was only Coca Cola! Far from good though >:( >:( >:(
-
So your two sons beat someone up for pouring some pop over your bonnet?
-
he said "what he deserved".
which was obviously a mild talking to.
unlike if it had been *my* car. in which case it would have been *much worse* than he deserved.

Well, it wasn't a mild talking too :-/
But anyway if anyone would think that I'd let or they rather would let them get away with that, then they're very much mistaken. I take pride in all of my cars and when someone does that, they get what they deserve which isn't a mild talking to in my books.

Del the only bad thing about that is he knows where you live. And being a complete knob in the first place for doing it he probably aint got much between his ears and im guessing he will be back and do alot more than just tip a drink on your car. After all no one will just accept it and learn from it he will want revenge.
-
yep agree with that ricki.
-
del whilst i totally agree with you and im glad your boys give him a kicking people should have more respect but if it was me tonight your cars and house would be burning so keep an eye out for a while as this nob will want revenge on the other side i hope you bought your boys a beer for a job well done ;D :y
-
I take my cue from machiavelli:
Men ought either to be indulged or utterly destroyed, for if you merely offend them they take vengeance, but if you injure them greatly they are unable to retaliate, so that the injury done to a man ought to be such that vengeance cannot be feared

Whilst it may not be justified legally they deserved the hiding they got. The police would like to help but they can't as there would be no evidence so the CPS would shelve it...NOT the Polices fault. They were cowards & tried to run. I'm glad they were caught & dealt with, not killed, just roughed up a bit.
Sorry Millwall. I normally agree with your posts but to burn someones house over a grudge when thier innocent family could be there does'nt make you a hard man & is wrong on every level. I'm not calling you a wuss & despite my size & gob am not a hardman either, i know what it's like to lose one & to win one but i've never taken revenge on anyones property & never would.
Deal with it face to face or let it go.
-
amigo i think i wasnt clear in what i put me personally wouldnt burn the house etc i meant they might you know how retarded some people are and i totally agree with all what you just said :y

Agreed that pouring coke was a pathetic, mindless thing to do, but giving the bloke a tuning was not the most intelligent thing to do.
If your lads went to the law about it, plod would say something along the lines of 'We'll have a word with him, now go wash your cars'
If the bloke goes to the law your lads are in serious trouble.

jeesus del boy - is there any situation with your family that doesnt end in violence? :o
"went down to tescos for a packet of fags, guy looked at me funny - bosh."
"then my eldest took the hump and gave the guy in front a right doing cos he was holding up the queue looking for change"
etc....
you do know that most people go through life never hitting anyone right? :o

Del, I count you as a friend and in that spirit I will voice the following observations and advice. Please take it that way.
What BJ states above is actually spot on. You and your family do seem to resort to violence far too quickly, even IF it is justified, IF at all!
So for that stupid act by a third party of spraying Coke onto your cars, which is bloody annoying, your son got involved in violence. Physical assauly, GBH, once convicted can put you away for up to 5 years. Will you and your son think that was worth it for a bit of Coca Cola on your cars?
You often express a distrust of the police and complain of them harrassing your son, or if I remember correctly, falsly arresting him. I do work on and off with Kent Police and the CPS, and I know that if an individual plays with fire they get burnt, and what you complain of happens Del.
My advice to you is for you all to wind your necks in and be sensible. Play by the law and you all will not risk everthing for one heated, OTT, act.
Just trying to be constructive here Del :y :y :y :y

I think one of the cars was a Mini.

Packet of fags, well I don't smoke. Anyway what have I said about violence on here, this occasion touching my cars, and I hit a bloke because he was sleeping with my Mrs? So I'll let people sleep with my Mrs sit there and take the piss and then let them get away with that? Maybe it's something you'd do, but that's not the way it works in my books.
-
Tell a lie I also mentioned about my brother on here before, which I thought to myself I'll do this by the books and ring the Police. I phoned them, what did I get? "Well there is nothing we can do really, if anything else happens let us know" he was following me in his car whilst I was on the phone to them.
-
Dell i dont see any of them being terrible and i believe strongly in standing up for yourself and you property after all who else will look after them for you. I know things shouldnt resort to violence but some times they do and i really do believe every action has an opposit and and equal (some time a bit more) reaction. Maybe next time the tit will think before he does some thing as stupid again.

i don't know you personally, but it does seem violence seems quite normal in your life, even commonplace - yes individual circumstances may warrant it but as i don't live in a tv soap matters are rarely that dramatic in my experience.....maybe stop for a minute and think to yourself "why does this crap keep happening to me?" maybe you actually are the unluckiest guy in the world, along with everyone for whom you justify violence for? its pretty unlikely. :(
-
BJ ive had alot of fights in my life some justified some not but i have never hit some one for no reason and in my mind i have always been in the right. Whether i am deluded and get in to trouble without good cause thats another matter but i stand up for what i think is right and if that means a fight then so be it. Dont get me wrong ive been put on my arse but thats all part of it and i accept that. Some people go through life with out trouble and thats them not me. Im am not a bully and have never been bullied and i never will be.

Really? So if some one slept with your wife you wouldnt do anything about it? Come on of course you would maybe not punch him but you wouldnt take him out for a beer. Every body is different.

Let someone sleep with your Mrs who you've had two kids with and been with for 20 years, and let the person who does sleep with her be 1 year older than your eldest son (22) and see how that makes you feel. Until you've experienced how that feels wind your neck in.
As for the cars, if you'd like to see the care and effort that goes into my cars you'd possibly understand.

Violence is the expression of physical force against one or more people, compelling action against one's will on pain of being hurt. The word violence covers a broad spectrum. It can vary between a physical altercation after some silly bugger pours coca-cola on your clapped out vauxhall, to war and genocide where millions may die as a result.

Clapped out Vauxhall? Who has a clapped out Vauxhall? I know I certainly don't. Haven't you got anyone else you can piss off?

Sorry, Del, I was only trying to accenuate the positive out of the situation. As Niche said...out of chaos comes order. ;)

The “violent male ape” image is often brought up in discussions of human violence. Dale Peterson and Richard Wrangham in “Demonic Males: Apes and the Origins of Human Violence” write that violence is inherent in humans, though not inevitable. However, William L. Ury, editor of a book called "Must We Fight? From the Battlefield to the Schoolyard—A New Perspective on Violent Conflict and Its Prevention” debunks the "killer ape" myth in his book which brings together discussions from two Harvard Law School symposiums. The conclusion is that “we also have lots of natural mechanisms for cooperation, to keep conflict in check, to channel aggression, and to overcome conflict. These are just as natural to us as the aggressive tendencies :)

Official crime statistics reveal high rates of offense among young people. These offenses include "Coking" dated vauxhalls. About 34 percent of all offenders arrested for criminal offenses in 2006 were under the age of twenty-one Rising crime rates are often directly related to the moral breakdown among young people and vandalism, school truancy, and drug use, which illustrates societies increasing permissiveness. The mass murder at Columbine High School is an example of how moral outrage can deflect attention from a clapped out old banger in Kent ;)

James Gilligan writes violence is often pursued as an antidote to shame or humiliation.[10] The use of violence often is a source of pride and a defence of honor, especially among males who often believe violence defines manhood.[11]
Steven Pinker in a New Republic article “The History of Violence” offers evidence that on the average the amount and cruelty of violence to humans and animals has decreased over the last few centuries."

Have you seriously got a problem mate? I'm not being funny, but I haven't got a clapped out Vauxhall for a start, your keeping on about this and you have no proper input. Why don't you piss off and wind someone else up, you keep digging for a reaction and I can't understand why?
I take it you're yet another one of these 'men' who is a big man behind a keyboard?
