Title: why ask?
Post by: Rich-K on 07 April 2011, 13:01:49
Having changed the car recently from an Omega to a Vectra, I have tried to register on the Vectra owner forum.
The first question as part of the registration is 'enter your date of birth.'
Having had my debit card scammed in the past, I am very cautious about giving out too much personal info. Needless to say I did not proceed with the registration. Can any of the Omega owner moderators please tell me why you would need info like date of birth?

Some forums have sections for posting offensive material on the understanding that you will only get access to it if you're over 18.  (my guess)
