Title: bloody camera
Post by: freecall666 on 06 April 2011, 17:41:51
the mother inlaw asked me to take the photes off her camara and did not have the drivers for it so pluged in and got drivers from windows auto, got them then got message box not compatible with vista. so unpluged it, carried on the net, turnd of old laptop for a bit shut down as normal. went to go on later and would not start up just this white line in left hand corner blinking. tryed a few more times just the same tryed the systerm fix in bootup just blinked again. found an vista disc and tryed the fix on the disc and it said there was no boot file and could not be fixed... now with moving still not found every thing so cannot find the disc's for the laptop, so cannot do a reboot so now on window7 for 30days till can find it and have all my old stuff working again, so if you going to do a favor for your mother inlaw and it involves an alba camara dont doit.... :'(

I bought a digital camera from ebay today. Nice little camera for my purposes , but it didnt have a lead to connect to my laptop, and the main reason I bought it was to upload pics onto OOF and ebay. ::)

Quite a few use mini USB same as phones.
Is it a rounded oblong with two corners cut off?

How would I know what the lead looks like when I dont have one ? :D ;D ;D.........Actually the input on the camera looks just like the smaller of those two, so I reckon I might have a lead and didnt know it. If you werent so far away ( and rather ugly) I would give you a kiss. :P ;D ;D
Thanks John. ;) :y

You can pick up one of those Mini USB to USB leads from somewhere like poundland to test it with... it'll fall apart after a few weeks but is a cheap way to check.

Dpends when they have a sale on! I like the way they absorbed the VAT increase!

Can you imagine working for the company that collects the money from them each day... bet they hate going there!
