Most of you know, I had a really, unexplainable attachment to my old blue MV6, that I just cannot recapture, or even get close to with my new facelift one.
Well since I had it, weve been doing little jobs here and there, the last being all new suspension, and then this week, had the geometry set up at Langs.
I gave the car a good wash and polish yesterday, got into it today in a good frame of mind, filled her up, and had a cracking run out to Betws y coed, on the twisties. She was running absolutely beautifully, loads of go, overtaking everything I wanted with ease, handling incredibly well round the corners etc.
When I got there, I thought 'YES' I'm finally liking this car, at last :D
Ljay drove her home, and experienced very similar feelings.
Finally, this car is growing on me. :D

Good stuff :y
Think everyone has unexplainable attachments to cars, TB with the rusty silver bullet, I don't want to sell my 2.2, i've had V6's that are of course faster, Elites with all the toys. But I like my 2.2!

Definately...
The blue one was home the minute after I sat back down in it after filling her up for the trip back from Somerset all those years ago, It was just right and felt like home....this one is taking a long time!

Yes, and the one we always use for 'testing' how a car drives, its a route we know well, and this car behaved better than any previous run weve had, was a joy to drive

After using TBE (aka Grey Dart) for my recent holiday in Wales, racking up a couple of thousand miles in the process, it has grown on me. I know the car a little better, and cannot deny its an amazing cruiser.
But I got back, jumped straight in the Silver Bullet, and was immediately at home again.
I think TBE needs something, just not sure what (other than to lose those rather awful, horrible, useless, unpredictable pieces of shite Michelin PS2 >:()

Swap the suspension and wheels over TB, job done. :)
