Just a quick introduction to say hi to everybody here.
Just bought a 2000 2.5 CDX and I suspect this forum may save me a fair bit of money where the common faults are concerned.
Middle aged, located in North Hants, 2.4 children, cat, dog, and parrot complete the line up.
PS
Is there any particular reason we need a 1000 posts before we can have images as our signature?

I thought it was only the for sale section that you needed 250 posts....
Didnt think there is a limit for avatars or signatures.....just guidelines for the size/etc :-/

I can certainly see a minimum post limit for things such as selling or offering services, I just couldn't see a reason for not being able to post an image that is a universally accepted size for a forum siggy.
Still, if that's the rules here then I guess I'll just have to wait.

How where you trying to post it?
You need to host it somewhere else, like photobucket and then link to it here :)

How where you trying to post it?
You need to host it somewhere else, like photobucket and then link to it here :)
It is already hosted, but I get a message about not being able to link to images until I have 1000 posts when I type the image code in and press the save button..

That doesnt sound right to me :-/ ....
I'm sure an admin/mod will be along shortly to either explain or solve the issue (as long as it isnt looney ;D)

I think there was something done a week or two ago to the signature setup so that you need to be a junior member or above. It was an issue with a newbie failing to keep the sig size down, I think, but happy to be corrected by TB or whoever of the admin team done the mod.
No doubt normal service will be reumed as soon as possible he remembers..... ;)

The exact error message I get is
Sorry, you are not allowed to create a signature containing active links to websites or images before you have posted 1000 normal messages.
As I said earlier though, if that's the rules then that's the rules, it really makes no odds at the end of the day.

Not too sure how I missed that before I posted, but hey ho.
