Overcast up here today but managed to walk me and the hound about 10 miles or so around a local loch, enjoying the quiet, the birdsong, early smell of oil seed rape, watching gliders getting launched at Portmoak - and the hound getting covered in glaur! ;D
Now, its bathtime for Bonzo! ;D
-
Was nice here this morning - got the car up on stands, rear discs off, handbrake mechanism cleaned up, camshaft sensor removed all ready for the delivery of discs, pads and sensor from AndyC.
Was also able to get the woodshed roof lathed out ready for the angled profile roof sheets being delivered next week.
Finished off with a bit of weeding - now having a nice Becks before starting the dinner (shortly).

Exactly what I've been doing this evening. :y Out on the airfield until dusk in shorts and tea shirt. Got myself "back in the saddle" (last flight was October, so a little rusty. :-[).

Pink laptop? Who on earth would buy one that colour?.... Wait a minute.. :-X

I've already finsihed off a bottle of gas for my BBQ this week. And the weather is set to get hotter apparently. The sun defiantly releases those good brain chemicals. Feels gooood :)

Indeed. ::)
Roasted a chicken and a joint of pork in the Weber last weekend. Just finished off the last of the pork in my sarnies today. :-*
No point in making the house hot with the oven on. Sit in the garden with a beer and watch it do its' thing instead. ;D

great weather ahead - I will be on my own for a few days again so boiled eggs and baked potatoes and taking in some sun would seem to be on the agenda - unless I can persuade others to do a bit of cooking for me!!
-

I suspect you & I would get on quite well should we ever meet, your logic is unquestionable and cannot be argued with.

Barbies? charcoal is without doubt the best at home but for portability/meets etc gas has it's place.
"A lovely hot day?" The jury's out on that one. If i can just lie in the sun & not move then yes i'm a sun worshipper. I don't need cream, i don't burn i just go very brown very quickly. Sadly i don't hav the time to sunbathe nowadays & being clothed & doing anything on a hot day results in me sweating buckets & looking forward to going home & sitting in front of the fan as it get's too humid, no breeze.
Also at night i resent not being able to have a window open & a light on without every fluttering creature in existance inviting itself in.
Is a lovely day that lovely? :-/

With all due respect sir, if you cannot ignite a bag of charcoal with what you have on your person, in your car, or at the local convenience store (which you know will be open), you shouldn't be cooking full stop ;D

Not really a curry man myself, although the OH will put most men to shame in that department (as well as the obligatory lager drinking as well), however I am always willing to "try before I buy" as it were before I condemn or praise either way.

Been out on the bike everyday this week, two tanks of petrol every day! I've got aches and I'm nearly skint with the price of petrol, lol! A good radox bath has helped with the aches and I'll need to get some work in to make up the money side of things, cos at this rate I'll be need another set of tyres in the next couple of weeks, lol! Couldnt be happier though, lol!
