Now that looks quality!

I hope it does come out on DVD soon, as I have a deep-rooted hatred of cinemas, and the rip-off merchants who run them...  >:(

...and me. Full of Pikeys usually. Orange Wednesday helps though, and this should be worth the pain. Sadly I don't have a 3d tv so needs must.

One of the best quotes from the film is - "If you want to be quicker than me round this island be prepared to wrap your bike round a post"
They really are a bit special to do that at speed. It does set the men from the boys and I know that with my bike riding ability I am in the boys catagory.
The onboard footage is excellent in 3D.
A certain Mr V.Rossi said that you can see it in their eyes that they are not all there and he wouldn't want to try it.

Well well, he's a lucky boy. I knew he didn't win, (Hutchinson across the board last year), but I didn't know he...... :-X.  :o

I think it was an interview that was done with Barry Sheene (but it may have been Joey Dunlop - can't remember 100%  :-[) where he said something along the lines of;

"I could tell when I'd taken the corner well when my shoulder brushed against the hedge at the apex.
But, it was only when doing a walk of the circuit years later that I saw, it wasn't a hedge - it was a dry-stone wall with moss growing on it!"

 :o

Apologies if I've mis-quoted that - please feel free to correct me if I have - but I think that sum's up the balls those guys have to run the race.  And hat's off to 'em :y

One of the quotes I liked was:

"There is a man hole cover just before the turn, if you aim for it, it kicks the back end of the bike out nicely, for the corner"

 :o :o :o

Saw it last night with my mate and was well and truly impressed with the whole film.It was also the first film I have seen in 3D and it does make a difference to the whole experience.Guy Martin is the star of the show even though he didn't win one race last year, his sense of humour is spot on and for those that haven't yet seen it even if you don't like bikes I suggest you go and take a look  :y

It's a question I often ask, what is it these guys and girls have in common that makes them face danger so avidly...?  It's not just bikes, although it is the TT in this case, could be base jumping....?

Bikes are in the blood, no doubt there IMO. But this level is frankly... psychotic... In an otherwise sane individual, well,maybe... ;D

It's more than just adrenaline and venturing out of the cave to the next valley and all that 'dangle berries'....?

I should add this was my main reason for watching this film I think. If it doesn't move you, then there's sumat very wrong.
