Ive been watching a police "bust" :o
630am blam blam, lots of shouting and dogs barking. Looked out the bedroom window and the streets covered in plainclothed officers and a riot van.
Now dont get me wrong i live in a very nice area and exclusive house - a leafy suburb i think you call it ;D
But im pretty streetwise as is my wife and soon after moving in we noticed the house down the road and another accross was always in darkness with young guys speeding back and forward in an AMG merc, M5, warrior jep etc. We reckoned with th cost of both houses and cars thy were dodgy - never semed to work. Got a cristmas card from them though - signed " the boys at number 9"
At christmas two guys were shot in Glasgow - one killed and one had his leg blown off.... a retaliatory shooting the two that were shot tried to kill two arch rivals over the usual gang stuff. Its not top secret its been in all the papers up here.
Turn out the one that lived..and now on crutches..lives in the house accross the road ::)
Today he has had a visit. Riot police, doors knocked off hinges, police in balaclavas with shields. Theve been searching nigh on two hours now...
and both "inhibitants" cuffed and lead away....now the amg is getting put on a flat bed.
Such excitement and its not even time to go to work ;D

ha ha no was too scared...these are serious dudes....Broocie - cops with balaclavas but not helmets......anything different about them or is that a choice thingy?
Also if there cuffed are they arrested? everyones now gone and the doors are boardd up...but we didnt see the gangsters leave...

Sounds like a drugs squad thing. The balaclavas usually go with guys who are 6 foot 6 cubed like Desperate Dan and don't take no for an answer.....
If he is cuffed and stuffed, at the least he is 'detained' (s 14 Crim Proc (S) Act - none of that engerlish PACE stuff up here) but could as easily be arrested. Check out the Evening Times or the midday news. Always preferred Shareen to Jackie, shame she's gone.... :'(

Oddly enough as the police left one way two of their ganster cronies turned up in a Focus st170.
Went to both doors, unscrewed the panel and entered both houses. Left with a wee rucksack and bolted both doors back together....
One woders if the police missed something or if they should have been in there in the first place...

Seems like one of them drew the short straw, poor guy having to hoof around in that thing ;D
Sounds like a bit of a dodgy place, i'll need to think twice before offering to give you a hand with any jobs over there ;)
