How low should it normally be, mine has a 'bodged' on mid section from the 12v, and a back box from a 24v.
With no weight in the car, i can barley get my fist in between the zorst and the road. ( and thats my gadget hands! )
I have been very kindly offered cat back 24v System off Hotel21 :y - This should make a massive difference to the exhaust height?? - Its either that or new taller harder springs.
Pictures of what it looks like now (with no weight in the car):

Btw, can we change and exhaust at the lakes? :-/

That is far to low, as you already know. 24v system should be just fine and dandy ;)

Thats what i am thinking, I seen a piccy of the 'true' 24v system and the back box looks different. I am wondering if this 24v back box i have is for the Carlton GSi

The GSI item is about 3" shorter so probably wouldn't 'peek out' from under the Senny exhaust.
Shame, I have a full cat-back system lying here if someone wants it FOC!!
But you're right, those pipes are way too low.

So a cat back 24v for the Senator should be a LOT higher then? Thats good, means the new zorst wont be filled down on the road ::)

Yeah, but TBH, I reckon it might be that the joint ahead of the back box isn't pushed fully home. Had a similar problem with a Carlton I had once.

Looking at the angle of the back box with respect to the bumper, has it not just rotated a little so that the bends further up have ended up closer to the ground?
That certainly looks much too low. Something's not right, and I'm not surprised it scraped with a full load.

Hmmm never mind the exhaust is sitting too low, looks like the whole damn car is! ;)
Oh and Rod, hold on to that exhaust mate, I will have it off you please!
I will get a 24v Senny soon enough.... :)

Sure mate, it's yours. Ain't in the best of nick TBH, but other than some surface rust and a fairly big dent in one of the centre boxes, it's fine.
I'll try and squeeze it into the Fronty the next time I'm down your way. I have a couple of visits this month.

Its running on standard Omega V6 Saloon springs. It looks like it rides at the same height as other Sennys.... my driveway is on a sloop...

Isn't that a kind of boat? ;) :y
