Just heard the sad news, Peter Falk aka Columbo has passed away. RIP, excellent as the deshevelled scruffy detective.

Always liked watching Columbo... Glad the TV company never spoilt it by trying to 'sexy it up' by bringing in some female bimbo when they did some later episode's.

sad news indeed - i love the way he always let the murderer think they'd gotten away with it and he was some clueless shabby moron  :y

RIP Mr Falk - you'll be missed  :(

Especially the episode when he caught the murder who was the chairman of the 'Mensa' association who thought he had covered every angle and the police would never figure it out.  So much so Columbo caught him out and the murder went and ‘showed him how it could be done!’

i saw that episode recently - Boss Hogg was the victim  ;)
