Hello guy and girls,was wondering how many tourer owners we have in the membership list,and was there any reason other than  "it's an estate" made you buy it.
You dont see too many of them on the road although they pop up now and then.

Not me, I have been told that the estates seem to hold there price better than a saloon, why is that :question

Well I know Mr McB has had a tourer, but there again I think he has owned every model bar the 3.2 Elite!  ;D

Tourers were a "special edition" Omega, only made for a limited time, so there aren't that many around.
 
Estates hold their price much better because they are known to cary HUGE amounts (more than many Volvo estates) and were also the Caravan Club "tow car of the year" once.... but so was the Citroen XM  :-[

When you say tourers, I take it its the same as an estate, or is there a difference.

The tourer was the limited edition estate made around 1997 I think.  Basically CD spec with a different name.

As a tourer owner myself, i can let you know that is based on gls spec with elec front windows only and cass player no cd,and no sun roof.Mine does have a sunroof as i know that the previous owner ordered it that way.Tourers aloso came :) with irmscher softstar 16" wheels and 225/55/16 tyres.

Also come with the nice little spoiler at the top of the tailgate, the same as the MV6 :)

Tourer was the estate version of the Reflection, which was a base spec special edition but with more sporty (almost MV6) style...
