Title: in 3 days time i know if my surgery worked

its been very worrying the last 5 weeks not knowing whats going on up there, and everything else thats happend the last few months, i knew how dangerous this surgery was but like a frigging idiot i had to look it up and see for myself the op while doing some research about it,only 22 of these operations took place in a 2yr period because of the dangers and complications, it really has knocked me back a bit and if i watched it before i had it done i would not of let it take place. but as my consultant is one of the worlds tops ent surgeons it has helped a bit. only a few weeks to go till i find out my fate and either get locked up or can go back to work. ive had 20 job offers since friday, and 8 alone today and i have started gaining my confidence back more so feel more optimistic for the future.

if you want to see what i had to go through watch this as it is exactly the same surgery. scary stuff.

Can't watch the youtube due to my 'internet police' at work, not really sure if I want to either by the sounds of it.

Good luck, Richie.

I watched the vid - I'm no medical expert, but to me that doesn't look like a terribly complicated procedure.. try not to worry too much about all the reading you've done about complications - there are potential complications to every medical procedure (even having a tooth pulled!) that can lead to all sorts of things, but I wouldn't mind betting the chances are pretty low with that one with a skilled surgeon doing the op.

I just looked up what I had done too... Not as bad but I hadn't realised how long the needles were! :o :o

i'm a bit worried to be honest as i seem to be clogging up and can smell it again. after 9 operations it does tend to get to you a bit.
