Title: barcalona train times?

just wondering if anyone has travelled to barcalona from lloret de mar by train? i know its actually blanes that i need to catch the train but any info on how often they run,return fare anything i should need to know really would be appreciated. thanks in advance :y :y :y

Can't help with specifics but you could try joining an expat forum like www.expatforum.com for spain or www.andalucia.com/forum and ask your question. Someone will advise the train timetable website. Prices will be cheaper than in Britain.

Have you tried the website seat61 which I have always found very very good for European train travel. I think the person that runs the website is a train travel fanatic and has very extensively traveled all over Europe on trains.

i went from blanes to barcelona by train but it was about 12 years ago so probably no help what so ever :(
still blanes was a lovely place from what i remember stayed on a little campsite right by the beach :)

if you have a smartphone get the app db navigator, gives all Europe and UK train times :y :y

I have traveled a bit in Spain on the trains including into Barcelone (although not from lloret de mar)

you can also rock up at the local bus station!!!  :y

ps go to watch a barca game if on. if its not a big game (like madrid) there will be lots of tickets left. best atmosphere ever!  :y :y :y :y
