True, but most meet plans collapse as the date gets changed/discused a zillion times and it all gets very late. IMHO the most successful meets are the ones where a date is announced early and folks are free to make arrangements to attend if they wish ... Newent being a case in point here ... date announced over 6 months in advance allows evreyone to plan. We all have lives outside of OOF, and the earlier a plan is made the more likely folks are to think ahead.  Small meets like House Invasions :) can  be more democratic, but for the larger meets a decision need to be made..... just look at what happened to the attempts to get agreement on dates for the "big" Reading meet ....  :(

Just my simple views, OK .. if you want to get opinions stick up a poll of maybe 3-4 dates .. but make it a short time poll then make a decision.  That certainly worked for York AFAIK and that looks like a success in the making .. :)

Time for a change me thinks.......... It's about a year over the recommended replacement, 40K or 4 years which ever is the soonest, and 2004 to 2009 is 5 years so well over due needs replacing NOW. and do the whole kit as well before it goes bang and £110 becomes £1500.

Just a rough estimate. You can get them cheaper from fleebay. Gates are the best one to go for.

just for admin
the car park there is quite large so it could be easily used for a cam belt change meet

i have spoke to the owner and he says its fine as long as mess is cleared away

may be an idea to bring a gazebo or 2 just to be on the safe side if only enough to put the front of a car under

This event will also be having a Wedding taking place as well.
This is Nick and Ann's wedding.

Is there any chance that we can all support them with this and members possibly attend (if you can). This will be happening on the 8 August so will be a good weekend. Please help us out on this one.

i need to remind any member that is coming to this meet that are going to use the onsite challet's instead of there own tent / caravan
can you please pm me a.s.a.p as you need to get your challet's booked and a deposit or you wont get 1. i can't tell you how urgent you need to get these booked i have spoken to the owner and he tells me they are going fast

if your coming in a tent / caravan etc then don't worry
i have got 50 pitches all with there own electric and water supply plus loads of room else where if you don't want electric although i would still get you to pitch up on the pitch's with electric :y
