Title: Local meet in Suffolk
Post by: twiglet on 07 July 2010, 21:45:57
Is anyone here from the Suffolk area (apart from Lazydocker and myself)?

Once Billing is behind us, I'd like to try and organise a bit of a get together!

I have a few ideas for a good day, but they depend on numbers, so it would be good to get a rough idea of how many people would make the trip first.

Perhaps anyone interested could add their names and rough locations to this thread?

Thanks.

There was a day meet in Essex earlier in the year which was arranged by Johnnycboy and was really good.

Shifts permitting, I'm willing  :y

I'll probably arrange a weekend meet next summer ;)

I'm still around, again work permitting.  Dont worry about numbers just sort a venue and date and wait for a response.  You will be surprised how many will turn up even without letting you know.  All the best JCB :y

Well I have to admit, I'm well impressed with the response so far! Looks like there will be enough of us to make it worthwhile!

I thought it might be cool to all meet up in one place, have a chat, etc, and then head off in convoy along a pre-planned route it a chilled out, cruise type of fashion, to our final destination... so to speak.

How does that sound to everyone?

I do a bit of venue research over the next few days, but looking at the locations of the people in the thread so far, it would seem that somewhere in the Norwich, Ipswich, Yarmouth triangle would be pretty central for most of us...

In the mean time, if anyone else has somewhere in mind, please feel free to post your ideas or PM me...

Cheers.

Personally, I'd prefer to just meet up somewhere. Cruising isn't my scene ;)

But each to their own :y :y

I realy like the sound of a meetup with other Omega owners, but a drive past is also no, no for me!
