Title: Is there a Surrey or Susex meet?

I joined OOF a couple of weeks ago and am wondering if the Kent meet is the nearest to me in Crawley? If there are no Surrey or Sussex meets is anybody interested in starting one?

No harm in finding an agreeable landlord and arranging a daytime meet though :y

I will try and get along to the next Kent meet.
If i get any more interest it will be worth getting advice on arranging a meet in Surrey.
And just in time for the spring too!  :D

Mark (The Alarming Man) is right, what you need to do is come along to the Kent meet and have a bit of breakfast and a chat as you are not to far from his venue, I myself make it down from near Reading in a little more than an hour and have'nt missed any, other than back in the December snow when the meet had to be cancelled.Then if you want to organise a meet you will  already have a few Kent members who will certainly attend especially if maybe your thinking of holding it at a pub,but where ever you decide we'll certainly do what we can to help make it happen. :y :y

Sounds like a great idea, i will be along on the 19th and am looking forward to meeting some fellow OOFers and their cars! Must make sure my car is up to scratch on the day!  :y

right well didnt make the kent meet had family turn up with new baby so bit difficult to slip out , her indoors would have got the hump , so shall we try somewhere near us all to have a natter and set something up , also if one of you is a wizz with bloody computers you could take a pic of my car and get it on web site as im feed up trying , :-?

I will be down in Cornwall the first week in May.
Would be a good idea to get some kind of meet set up, so venue and date need to be set first; Hmmmmm? Will put my thinking cap on for a venue, and do people prefer sat or sun?
