I have arranged March 19 for the next meet at our new venue (jungle cafe)with a very flat car park..how are we all fixed ?? :y

Sorry I can,t do that date either.
Going in for Knee Op on 17th at the Alexandra Hospital so won,t be too mobile for atleast 2 weeks.

I will be organising a meet on a Sunday but it won't be untill weather gets a little warmer as it will be outside :y

Got a small problem for that day Mark,I might be going via Heathrow to make sure the Canadian rellies actually get on the plane home,but it should be O.K as they should be there by 10 a.m at the latest so all I will need do is burn a bit of rubber down to you straight after,so I might be a touch late.BUT will be there! Hi i would like to come to one of the meets as long as your promise not to be to hard on my poor work horse she may be rough but she's mine and i am talking about my omega not the wife. Can you give us dullards the heads up such as times ect thanks

We Won't be hard on anyone.. Once I get onto a Pc (on a I phone at mo) I will post the venue with postcode etc :y

well we meet about 10:30 and finish about 13:30 or you could bring SWMBO along i and ding a ling do :y

Thanks for offer,Mark,but I am only going into Hospital on Thursday afternoon so doudt I will be in a good shape on Saturday.

enjoyed the meet today nice to be able to put names to faces and see some very nice omegas im just wondering if a certain person got a slap from the mrs on the homeward journey ;D ;D you know who you are ;D ;D even still managed to get to the den in time for the match :y

yep i missed meet to wanted to show of the steinmetz but had cousin turn up with new baby so got to hold the baby ah sweet showing my softer side,may even manage to get some pictures up tommorow as ive sorted my photo bucket acc out.had a e-mail from rossiters thay have only sold one and its not mine so prob is only two 8-)

Sorry TAM, but after the Farnborough meet I have decided to attend no more :( :(
I am glad you really have something going there with your regular meets which are doing so well.
But you are a man, not a women like me, and it is very much a male orientated forum where women are tolerated but not normally totally accepted. Hence, once a woman has lost her "mystery" as we can create on the internet, and reveals she is plump, middle aged, and perhaps a threat to some men, she is no longer of interest to many as I have become! :'( :'( :'(
I will say no more!

We are all only united by our ownership and pleasure gained from a certain marque of car so our individual situations should not be an obstacle.Our willingness to share our experiences and help is what makes this a very good forum and it would be a shame if members felt they could not participate fully.
Several female members attend our meetings and I am certain your attendance would always be welcomed,by male and female alike.
Perhaps you may reconsider especially with the weather improving and the possibility of some form of fuller meeting other than a few hours at a transport cafe.

Again I can only agree wholeheartly with the sentiments expressed towards Lizzie and any other prospective members that may have any reservations about attending a meet.The emphasis is not so much about the cars but sitting down having a bit of breakfast and a good old chinwag about any thing that comes up like certain experiences that we all have had,(please don't ask about the Soho incident and the pink fluffy slippers ;)Joking aside we really wan't to see more and more members joining in and perhaps arranging some other events i.e a Newent style weekend and if the numbers are there a REAL christmas get together,who knows?But first of all you've got to make the first move and come along and meet us, we guarantee to make you welcome and that's a promise ;) :y

I also echo Millwall,s comments regarding the attendance at any forthcoming meeting of my good lady.

A wonderfull thought,but the reality is still she would not attend.
Her interest in cars of any description is only matched by that of a blind/deaf person collection musical birthday cards.Sadly she thinks I am a big kid when it comes to cars and I haven,t managed to change that view point for 30 years so doubt even with your obvious debonaire charm and carasmatic persona her mind would be swayed.
Give it another few months and who knows !!!
