Look no further than http://www.wellandsteamrally.co.uk/ for a fantastic short break in the shadow of the beautiful Malvern Hills :y
Campers are free to arrive on our campsite from 9am on Wednesday 28 July, and stay-over free of charge on the night of Sunday 31 July after the show.
The campsite must be vacated by noon on Monday 1 August.
For block bookings, generously discounted camping rates are available on the advertised prices on a 'per unit' basis, and include unlimited admission to the showground.
Each year sees around 1000 camping units on site, and although we can't supply electric hook-ups, we have mains water, chemical toilet disposal tanks, portaloos, rubbish skips, a large disabled camping area, as well as a campsite shop and 24-hour security.
There's also a Farmers Market and caterers galore on the showground itself.
The event will be sign-posted from Jct 1 and Jct 2 of the M50 motorway.
Why not join our 15000 visitors at this great event - with great company and around 1000 working exhibits?
:y :y :y :y :y

Why does this ALWAYS get put on when I've already booked and paid for my France holiday ... :(

It's called "The Law of the Sod" Nige! :D
We get the same problem later on, as Newent clashes with the Great Dorset Steam Fair.
However, 'Newent it is' for us, dear boy! :y
Seriously, enjoy yourselves in France mate! ;)

Forgot to say - I will be up for this. Not sure about Mrs. KW but I'm working on her. Be in a tent - small one if I'm on my own, large one if not, I guess. Hopefully a small car too, although I'm not holding my breath.

It's truly massive Jon me boy :D .........
My field alone has upwards of 250 camping units sited thereon.
So there can't be any 'inappropriate antics' from you lot! ;D

Just 7 weeks to go now - and we're filling-up fast! :y :y :y :y :y

Just over two weeks to go now - and our public campsite's now absolutely choc-a-bloc! :D
I'm reliably informed that we now have around 1800 camping units booked-in (and paid-up!) We've even had to 'borrow' an additional two fields from neighbouring farms to satisfy the colossal demand this year, as per: http://www.wellandsteamrally.co.uk/
All entry classes are also full, so it's 'Day Visitors Only' from here on in I'm afraid!
Sincere thanks go to Simon (dad1uk), Jon (The Red Baron) and Kevin Wood, who'll be assisting me at the rally - all of whom are now bone-fide members of the Ross-on-Wye Steam Engine Society Ltd.
They'll be well-treated, and Dear Pamela'll ensure that we're all well-fed/watered! ;D
The OOF spirit will be very much alive in the shadow of the Malvern Hills for the duration of this fantastic event :y

Well, just got to pack my tent and some beer tonight and I'll be on my way in the morning (via triple fff brewery and perhaps the butchers). :D
