Title: Air-con
Post by: AndyVXR300 on 04 June 2009, 18:09:24
Took the plunge today and took My 3.0 and MV6 to Kwik-Fit to have the Air con re-gassed, after telling the Manager we were a main supplier of automotive parts for Kwik-Fit he quickly adjusted the bill to £50 for both cars and now have Ice cold air con in both cars...

I know Kwik-Fit take some flak on here but my Branch in Bushey were excellent this afternoon and the service was second to none.... £50 well spent

I Have to say that i recived good service at the wallington branch on sat  when they vac and gassed my system on my jeep, but they still have a long way to go to remove the shyster image that they have fully deserved over the last 10 years. ::)

Got one of the techs at where I now work to have a look at mine.

Vacc'd 650 grammes of gas out instead of the 950 required.

Gave it a good sook, no leaks, then redid the whole shamoozle with the required 950 grammes and its been chilly cold since.

Braw!

ps - its a Landrover dealership, but don't shout it out....   ;D
