My thoughts aswell, lot of money for not a lot of gain almost £100 for 4.3 horses :-X

Bear in mind that the 2.6 has a flash based ECU so it's not a matter of swapping the chip but programming a different map into the existing (sealed) ECU.
That's a lot of money. Granted, a fair bit of work goes into reverse engineering the ECU to make this possible, but even still...

I’ve tried Superchip in my 3.0 Mv6, currently running a Courtenay Chip. The Superchip gave a bit more Mid and the Courtenay gives a better Low and Mid response, the Courtenay definitely gives better MPG.
There seems to be a difference between these 2 Chips, the bit that confuses me is that Courtenay use Superchip, so maybe it’s a different Remap or I’ve got an early Courtenay chip?
Both Chips were free for me, not convinced I would pay the hundreds of pounds they want though. Think both chips would probably work better with some Head and Breather work.
As for the 2.6 and 3.2 ECU’s Superchip do a Bluefin thingy so you can remap yourself.

Bluefin won't work on the omega.

Why not get your car re-mapped?
Been quoted around £275 around here

is there much difference between re-mapping and a super chip
what sort of diferences do you get :-?

I've always been told that it is better to have your car re-mapped over a chip.
As a chip is a standard item, which is fine, but if your car is modified it changes everything.
So i always thought a re-map was better, as they tune it to your car :y

My car was chipped by the police, last owner had it for 5 weeks before I got it and rolling roaded it, got 242 BHP on the sheet :y

Go on Mike - you might get over 200bhp then :y

Well as Mark said cheaper to do something with the exhuast but exactly what not sure, stainless steel, or just replace standard, which I would doubt, remap would only gain 13bhp would up it to 208 :-X....

With the upgraded work you've done, a remap might get you a bit more than that. :y

Looking at your power plot, I would say exhaust should be at the top of the list.
