does anyone know how the vauxhall badge on the handle of a preface like is held on?
is there pins or just glue?
thanks

i know the estate has 2 locating lugs & double sided sticky [trim tape] on the black & silver type badge but not sure on saloons :-/

Mine was the same - lugs and sticky.

I assume you mean the chrome one? Sticky pads & three plastic lugs, easy to slice off with a cheese wire.

Debadged mine recently (now badged as Opel all round inside and out) and I found the easiest way was to pour very very hot (not boiling) water over the badge.
That softens the glue enough for them to just then gently prise off with a credit card (American Express will do nicely)

heating them up with a hair dryer works well :y

think it might just stay on now tho as there will be holes left from the locating pins.
but if i get a rear spoiler when getting it sprayed i mite ask nicely uf hed touch in the handle if i put a bit of filler over the holes

how about poppin a Holden one on?
