Definately - it's poinltess doing it in bits :)

VX no longer make a double skinned system - therefore the quality you get, is no better than good pattern (ceratinly not to justify the cost!)

Eternal do a 2 year guarantee now too

Only downside, their website is initially a bit fiddly...

A year ago Daz I would have agreed with you mate.

However VX exhausts now are only single skinned, rather than the double skinned ones you always used to get, and are not made nearly as well. Genuine GM exhausts are really poor, compared to what they used to be....  :'( :'(

My back box came adrift where the pipe enters the box. The box itself is a genuine GM jobbie. Car has 106k miles on the clock, so can't complain about that.  Definately double skinned. One section has a 4cm diametre hole in the outer skin and the inner is like new.
Been quoted £85.00 for an economy replacement box :o

It would have been double skinned back then, however any replacement won't be. VX cut a corner on this one, and VX is no longer financially viable...

How does it pass an MOT when it's de-catted?  ::)

That's an easy one... Not in a million years. ;)

Unless you can find a bent tester.

probably my faults that nobody on here buys genuine exhausts anymore. Pics in the link below.

I think the eternal car exhaust is a little bit noisier, as Kevin Wood commented when driving my car, with new genuine exhaust, that mine was a bit quieter than is eternal car system. But cant say i noticed his as being much louder when driving his car.

If it was me, having had a new style "over priced" cheap build genuine exhaust from GM.... Think i would go eternal car and save 170 sobs tbh.
