Title: I need velco fasteners on my front bumper
Post by: Andy B on 14 June 2009, 11:25:03
After having had my front bumper painted I refitted it all yesterday afternoon. Then half took it back off again because, presumably the disturbance caused a fog lamp to blow. Refitted it all again. Then this morning the washer bottle, that I'd filled yesterday cos the low washer fluid message was on, has emptied it's contents on the floor  :(. So ...... it looks like I'm looking to see where it's coming from. And the bumper will have to come off again as I've realised I've missed off the 2 chrome/stainless trims! I suppose I should get outside then instead of pratting around on the PC  ;) ;) ;)

Well look at this way Andy the bumber bolts will be lovely and free to unbolt again, with practice making perfect so your time to do the job must be declining all the time! 8-) 8-) :D :D

How about becoming an F1 mechanic who has to take off and put back on at speed the front nose cones?  You must be fully qualified to do that now!! ;D ;D ;D

Every cloud has a silver lining. 8-) 8-) :D :D ;) ;)

It's back on again ........ but I've broken the clip that holds the bottom part of the inner wing liner from the bumper ..... I'd 'welded' it up before I started yesterday.  :(
Firing up the plastic welder soldering iron again!!!   :y  :y
