New stem seals + valve lap, head gaskets, manifold gaskets, camcover gaskets, cambelt, basically top end refurb.
It was all time consuming, held up by silly things like cleaning all the bathroom sealant some monkey had used on the cam covers :( took ages.
Filled up with coolant, pressurised - no leaks 8-)
I couldn't turn the key, as I've not yet got the exhausts attached (awaiting cat) - but it's all gone together slowly and carefully, so I have full faith it will start and be fine.
While I'm waiting, it's now draining all the manky oil out of it - and I will whip off the sump before I start it, just to check the oil pickup for peace of mind :y

I will also be replacing these non-gen lambda sensors with some GM ones - I reckon that's why they throw a code now and again - alongside the awful pattern cat, which is being binned in favour of a brand new GM one

Nooo - I've still got the rear wheel bearing, ATF Change, full brake service, and MOT to do first ...... ;D
