Title: Turned the key on the MV6....

..... following top end rebuild.

Couldn't resist seeing if it would start - had to hook up the old exhaust quickly before I could try it.

Oil changed - coolant flushed. Final check around engine bay - all good.

Turn key -

Started first time, no fault lights, no nasty noises, no leaks. All good  8-)

Hopefully tomorrow I can fit the new cat and eternalcar exhaust system, and she'll be mobile.

Good job, MOT has run out on the Elite  :-[

Should be fine - I need to do rear disks and pads, and fronts, and fluid change, then put it in.... although she still has a few weeks

hope you get a mot like mine this week -  straight thru (bar an orange light which took 10 mins to repair the fault).
and,  £30 trade mot!
