Just doing some diags on the Ashtray..... I decided to remove and inspect the new plugs to see which one wasn't quite firing right.
Anyhow - re-fitting, using a torquewrench I may add - one of the spark plugs has broken off in the cylinder head >:(
Basically the threaded bit has been left behind, and the electrode and washer broke free.
I am just hoping, because there is a hole in the centre of the bit that's broken off - that I will be able to get an easi out in there? My only worry is, it's quite deep in the head, so may not be long enough...
Any advise most welcome, before I set fire to it :y

I would get a new torque wrench James that one seems to be causing you no end of problems :(
-
James with the luck you've been having over the last week, the best advice I could give is gather your tools together and throw them in the bin ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Eh? Not stripped anything else, recently... :y
Halfrauds low range jobbie - set to 25nm.
The thing just snapped, no warning at all.
It was a brand new bosch plug - I wonder if it may have been faulty....

If I was you James, I would get someone else to hold my todger when I go for a pee ;D
-
You would, Pete. :D
In all seriousness - the porcelain part has come right out (intact, thank god), as has the hex bit - leaving just the threaded part, with a centre hole, in the head.
I can only pray a good easi out will remove it.
I've never used one before, obviously lots of grease to stop any filings entering the bore will be a must...

bloody hell james glad i dont have your luck !!! :o :o

Yeah, I think everyone probably is....
Found this picture on the net, from someone else who had the same problem.
Hopefully I can have the same outcome....
