I'm not surprised he can't shift it, he's asking £1000 more than the book price.

On a side note, I looked at the old ladies insurance today (for getting the screen replaced).
First time I've seen it on any policy, in bold type (so you can't miss it) was the following....

"In the event of a total loss claim, the maximum that may be paid is the market value of the vehicle at the time of the loss"

In other words, if you've just spent £500 on the gearbox of a car that only books at £500 and it gets the nicked the following day....tough titty!

If other insurance companies start to follow suit (and I'm sure they will), that will really bring the secondhand market down (good for the buyer, not so good for the vendor).

cars over here are generally more expensive, thats why we can come over to your side of the pond and pay for the ferry back and still get a bargain. a mate just done this at the weekend to birmingham and still got a bargain ( by our standards)

Big speakers in the boot, cone filters and other boy-racerish things are an instant turnoff to many customers. Nice car though.

Agree, get rid of the speakers, it puts alot off.

I'm taking my dad's down to the nearest multi-storey to see if I can get some shots like that, though!

So it may not be that rare, then, but the spoiler actually is made by Prodrive, then? Wow. Has there ever been any transmissions / engines being uprated by Prodrive, atall?? I'm thinking of something in the mould of the Hens-teeth Fergusen Formula Monzas from the 1980s....

Imagine that... a cross between a Scooby and an Omega?!?!!?
