8-)
After my trial and tribulations. New this that and the other.
Took off Dis pack. Bolts holding pack in rusty.
Pack cracked and rusty round end coil.
New one put on. Sounds nice, no chugging. Now got the V6 I've been wanting for the last month or so.
Thanks all. Thanks for your patience. As the old saying goes. Be methodical, one stage at a time.
Can now take inlet manifold off in about 20 minutes. First time 2 hours :D ;D

I know what its like to work on a motor that you dont have any expirience with. But it is still a lot of fun especially when it works and all goes right.

Thanks everyone for their encouragement.
Car went like a dream over the weekend.
?issed off a boy racer at chlolestrial corner at Braintree. Don't think he realised that a 10 ten year estate being driven by an over 50 would reach 70mph in such a short distance on a NSL dual carriageway. Took him over a mile to overtake me. :D
Just a question that's puzzling me.
Fuel consumption on the display been showing 23.8 miles per gallon, which eventually went up to 24.1. However, trip meter shows 279.8 miles to 9.9 gallons used (= 27ish miles to the gallon). Which one is like to be the more accurate. Thanks in anticipation. ::)
