Title: Power Steering Fluid
Post by: platty on 10 July 2009, 10:16:35
Hi guys,

My power steering has been playing up of late, sometimes getting stuck on the lock when reversing out of spaces etc. Checked the fluid level and I think it is very low - just touching the bottom of the dipstick cap thingy.

What should I fill it up with? Not had to top up before and don't have the manual!

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

TIA Platty  :y

On the other hand, if it was too high what would happen? Pump is noisy and on checking level it is too high

Very little. The rest of the system doesn't know what's in the reservoir.
