Post by: Omega man 2 on 09 July 2009, 17:01:39
Had a look at the guide, but can anyone tell me what I'm looking at in the first pic :(

The one in the guide is a f/l mines a mini f/l should they be the same?

Yes three screws two on top and one low down Which can be fun to get back in  ::) I bet you end up scrabbling under the car trying to find it when it falls off the socket  :D

Try a bit of blu-tak on the head of bolt, before putting socket on. Bolt sticks in socket...easy... when the bolt is done up, just pull the scoket off, and the blu-tak comes away with the socket!! :y

learnt this the hard way, grovveling under the car, looking for the dropped bolt!! ;D

Thought you might I have a couple of lost ones down in front of  the car somewhere  ::)
Blutack or even just grease is ok to hold the screw in the socket  :y

Whole lot easier with the grille by fog light removed..you can then get the bolt in by hand and just use the socket to tighten it up.
