Title: surface rust underneath
Post by: unlucky mark mv6 on 11 July 2009, 14:37:46
Mines an 02 plate mv6 and have a bit of surface rust underneath the car at the front where the underseal seems to have been missed.Anyone else had this expeirience, just thinking of skimming it over with the linisher and undersealing before it gets extensive and fails mot. :o

Don't use underseal..... It traps moisture! Best thing after linishing back to bare metal it a good quality etch primer, a couple of coats of hardwearing paint (either body colour or chassis black) and waxoyl. that will last forever then :y
