Title: Just bought a marked police car

I bought that marked unit that was on ebay,  thanks for whoever posted the link, as i had not spotted it until then. so again, thanks  :y

Its a 3.0 MV6 MANUAL, S reg, got the full police spec inside it, and have bought a lot of extra stuff from the guy too.
got a vascar video and speed system, tracker, lightbar with blues, sirens, the whole system.

Will be for show use only obviously  :y

Roll on the next omega meet.


all i need now is a nice Irmscher 3.2 in star silver (mileage unimportant) then i will have owned every one i ever wanted to.  very fortunate.

its all good, dorset police have just emailed me back conformation about me buying it and where it will be kept and what it will be used for, so at least its not going to get taken and impounded!
if it does, the sun will have a headline "police car impounded by the police" lol

No, impersonating a police officer is a serious offence.

I believe you have to remove/cover blue lights and police logo's.

However I am sure Simon has much more knowledge on this than me.

how can someone sell it stickered up and fitted out and is it legal to drive like that  :question

James Waddington's Omega is the best 'non-active' Police Spec omega i've seen.

Saw his at ABS yesterday, had a peep at all the electrics while he was showing someone else the gadgets  :y
