hi Guys, After some advice. Have been offered a 99 omega 3.0 MV6 in exhange for a car i have for sale. The car is ex West yorkshire police and shows one owner on the log book. It has a Jamie Tomkins engine fitted? can anyone tell me if this car engine is any good or what to look for when purchasing an omega. Any Advice would be massively appreceiated

Hello again!!

This engine I know nothing about and have not seen it mentioned myself on this Forum.  Normally, as far as I know, MV6's have GM engines.  So in your case it is hard for me to say what to look for when buying this car in terms of its engine.  However, there will be other members along later who will no doubt know a lot about these power units!! ;) ;)
