Not a lot really - but took some time
- clean out workshop, make space for car and engine!
- assemble crane and engine stand
- Remove engine and gearbox from Astra boot!
- Split engine and box, remove clutch and flywheel, and tidy up
Can't put the engine on the stand today - not got any bolts long enough to go through to the block, so will get some through the week.
We couldn't get the lifting chain through the 2-4-6 eye, so attached it to the engine mount instead. Seemed to take the weight without a problem, and not an issue, as I have new ones :y

I have never done a V6 engine change before, let alone a manual conversion, but this MV6 will roar once more :y
