Just come up from the South coast to Pudsey near Leeds for Grandson's christening. At home LPG is 53.9p litre at nearest BP station. At ASDA's at Pudsey just filled up with LPG at 46.9p litre.
How the heck can a 7p difference be justified?

Fuel is dearer down here for some reason mate :(
-
46 p at the local calor center or 48.9 at the local Shell..... 53.9 is a bit steep!
-
The infamous North/south divide. ;)
-
nearest Calor dealer is at Eastbourne (about 20 miles from me) :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[
Next nearest LPG point is another BP station at about 13miles and still 53.9p!!! :(
-
My local stations are 53.9 (2 shell's and a BP), but if I go into Ipswich (about 13 miles) I can get it for 48.9 :o :o
I'm not worried about it TBH as I've already recovered the cost so anything now is profit :y :y
-
local shell is 53.9p, but slightly further out the bp is a bit cheaper usually although not been there for a while as its not 24 hour. Iirc it went up 3p in the last budget, does that account for whats seems a high, more common price of 53.9?
I guess the north south divide and Asda price policy could account for 7p differance?
-
under 45 p here, wish I could use it ;D
-
bloody hell, at that rate itll be free in the shetlands...
-
I currently am only paying 40p per litre at the local Calor place by me, or 49.9 at shell if i can't get into Calor...
-
In Boston, Lincs, we normally get amongst the lowest prices in the UK for Fuel but my local Shell is 51.9 for LPG. Even the Diesel quietly crept up to 101.9 over the past week!!!
-
I stopped looking at the price of fuel ages ago if buying in or around the same area as the cars not going anywhere without it so not a thing you can do about it so why get hot under the collar about it :).
-
It's 55.9 in E.Anglia

53.9 at the twin Shell Garages on the A12 at Woodbridge, and the BP at Martlesham. Paid 48.9 at the Shell in Ipswich and Morrisons is normally the same price :y :y

43p by me, 42p at carvers in Wolves, my Rolls Royce runs on it, works out more economical than my tractor. :)

i fill up at a shell in doncaster and pay 43.9 and it's even cheaper on wheatley hall rd doncaster at a independent it's 41.0

Does anyone know what the price is at the Shell on the A1 Northbound, around Pontefract IIRCC? Used to be quite cheap for a main service station :y :y

where's that Calor place mate?
I use Flogas at Castle Vale, which was 41.9 last time i went, or Birmingham autogas at Starcity, which was also 41p ish last time...
www.Petrolprices.com is useful for prices of all fuels. Not that it has every station/depot, but it's useful when travelling!
My local petrol stations charge about 49.9 (shell and texaco). I was gutted when travelling to wales and had to pay 54.9!!
Last time I went to Dorset though, the texaco in Shaftesbury was over 60p :o (just checked, it's 62.9!)
I think the difference is based on supply/demand and how close a depot is to you rather than a fuel station.
If I go to london there's a cheap asda off the m40 near high wickham. wouldn't have found it without petrolprices.com. Now I've got a lpg atlas too, its useful for finding off the main route suppliers!
There are other websites listing lpg stuff like http://www.drivelpg.co.uk or http://www.lpgmap.co.uk/
Plus you can get tomtom poi info for calor, autogas etc etc too.
PS according to that website the nearest Shell to Pontefact is at Castleford (Riverside), chargin 51.9p, but it's a bit off the a1.

Perhaps my memory is playing tricks on me with respect to where the garage is :-/ :-/ ::) ::)
Definitely not that one though... It's right on the A1. I'll find out on Friday night when I fill up there ::) ::) ;) ;)
