Title: Time to fix the Ashtray :)
Post by: JamesV6CDX on 28 August 2009, 22:51:01
At last, my Gen GM piston rings have arrived  8-)

I can now crack on and make a good job of the engine. Just a question of time - but it won't take too long on a lawnmower.

Current compression reading is 18bar on all pots - high - I'd imagine a bit of oil is coming past the rings.

Only 100 psi or so more than what you should be seeing then

I thought that was quite significant?
