Title: cheapo diagnostic tools

Ive seen cheapo diagnostic tools on ebay
do they work? has anyone on here got one?
 i have 3 cars 2 of them are vauxhalls  so it would be usefull to me but only if they work

depends what you are looking at, a lot of illegal chinese clones about, which we cannot discuss obtaining here for legal reasons.

There is a thread in FAQ that explains most of the different code readers for Omegas.


As per forum rules (posted at top of every board on OOF), absolutely no discussion - either obtaining, distributing or using - about the illegal chinese copies that may or may not be available from various gay auction sites.  Any such posts will be moderated, and persistent offenders banned.

I have PM'ed him about it, but you are right TB. Will change my sig as well.

Your Q didn't break any rules :y


Usually when we see this Q -which is regulalrly asked, hence why its in FAQ - we get loads of people popping up posts that do break the rules, I was simply pre-empting that.  The lawyers of some of these tools that have lots of illegal copies have had a great deal of success shutting down sites promoting the illegal copies, just don't want that to happen to this site.
