Whilst its probably good for our little town - and esp good for the pub opposite the factory (The Locomotive) - its still a boring and tedious spectactor sport

I think just on his overtaking today he deserves to be F1 champion...but didn,t he make it hard for himself.
Will be interesting to see how the last race goes in 2 weeks,as all titles are now decided.

The whole of the Brazilian GP was superb! How can you say it's not a spectator sport?

The qualifying was gripping, it was wet, slippy and accident prone!

All of the actually race kept me gripped, but I am fan. I have been following button for a few years and I am glad to see he's done it and from no where. Up until this weekend, I have felt I'd never seen him really take on some good attacking driving. It's nice to see he can do it if he needs to, just a shame he didn't do more of it earlier on.

The next GP could be entertaining as well, but only if button goes out there with a 'I've already won, so I've got nothing to lose by nailing it' attitude

:yit would have been nice to see reubens get it again would have been a worthy champ but to see the brawn team on the whole win both championships was great after all the uncertainty at the beginning of the season! Looking forward to next season with the likes of lotus and manor racing taking part

No it won't its just going to make things even more boring, light cars are racey and go for overtakes, cars heavy with fuel just lumber along, just look what happens after re-fueling.

Its another pointless fiddle of the rules by the FIA

Disagree - hopefully the next step will be banning (planned) tyre stops, then the lazy, useless poofters will have to overtake on the track.

Im not sure there will be planned tyre stops.Would changing to new tyres more than make up for the 30 secs. or so lost coming in to fit them ? :-/

Depending how the tires fail, yup, if they go all grainy, the super softs could be a lot quicker, but would not last as long.

Still think no fuel stops is going to make it more booring.

yeah, still expecting same number of tyre stops.  Also, same rules on mandatory using both types in a race remains in force.

Last time I checked Tunnie, Brackley was smack bang in the middle of England. Not America.

Restricting fuel could work - eg, being able to up the mix for a couple of laps to overtake, but then have to back off to make it to end of race. Doubt FIA will do that.

I still reckon they seriously need to massively reduce aerodynamics. Make the engines as fast as you like, but little downforce.  Oh, and get the current poofs out of the cars, and put people in prepared to race (Schumacher, for all his faults, was always a racer (sometimes dirty though))

Saw plenty of overtaking on Sunday

:-/dont think its all down to drivers not overtaking but team orders to save engines, gearboxes etc because they are limited to so many per season ! Also would like to see the t car brought back so that could be used when there is an accident like in the belgium grand prix a few years ago  when they had a massiue pile up at the start !

If they get rid of tyre stops as well as re-fuelling,the racing would have to be more interesting, they would have to design cars aerodynamically which were capable of running close to each other and overtaking because there would be no other way of winning if you dont start from pole.
I can remember F1 long before mickey mouse/TV friendly re-fuelling was brought in and there was much more overtaking and the racing was much more interesting. :y

Not in the current F1 guise. Its boring, tedious rubbish, disgracefully classed as 'racing'
