I believe a bulb (lamp) kit is mandatory,  :)

I actually enjoy dring in France (northern France) more than here.

Do you know how to symmetrically dip your headlights?
No stickers needed!!

remember hi-vis jackets must be in the cabin, if they are in the boot you still get done.

BTW i guess any hi-vis are ok? As mine are from work (thames water) and have thames water written all over them.

As long as they are hi-viz, they're fine

You could have Seine-Eau??

Whenever I've travelled through Europe and I did a lot as a continental trucker I used to carry:-

High Viz
Fire Extinguisher
Warning Triangle (and cones due to my size)
Bulb Kit
First Aid Kit
All documentation pertaining to the vehicle and myself.

Never had a problem in 12 years driving over there (apart from the russian border patrol but that's for another day!) :y

Bulb kit and first aid kit :y :y

Best thing with the hi-viz is to hang it on the back of the seats... Then it's clearly visible from outside the car and gives Mr Plod no excuse to pull you.

Also, take photocopies of your documents as well as the originals and don't forget to inform your insurer, as a courtesy in most cases, before you leave :y :y

AFAIK its also forbidden to take fuel containers onto the ferry/tunnel....

Worth looking into euro breakdown cover, just in case too.....!!

Took our first Omega to Lodz in Poland and our current MV6 to Normandy this year, neither car missed a beat but sods law says that if you dont take out breakdown cover your car WILL pack up.......

lol

No point taking a crank sensor on a 4 pot, maybe a cam sensor but highly unlikely ;)
