Not sure i'd want to pay much for it to be honest, the mileage and being X plod (Lack of kit, probably well worn suspension etc).

Got a feeling you'd be spending a fair wedge of money on it to be honest.

Can't be snapped if it is running on 3-4 cylinders. I reckon that the DIS pack is on the fritz. I'd also look at the crank sensor too.

P0300 Random/multiple cylinder misfire detected
P0304 Cylinder 4 Misfire Detected
P0306 Cylinder 6 Misfire Detected
Almost certainly DIS. I would replace the leads and plugs for good measure. Fairly cheap fix tho, if a bit fiddly!.

I sent this guy a message earlier asking how much he wanted, and just got a reply that he has it advertised locally for £500, so I reckon turn up and show him £350, and it will be a bargain even if you break it, unless you folks know otherwise, just a shame has not got leather.

I'd turn up with a 2,4,6 Dis pack and almost certainly drive it away ::) ::)

Is that corrosion on the boot lid either side of the handle??  or just dirt?

If he couldn't even be bothered to wash it and take a few pics of the interior then he probably had the same attitude towards the servicing etc.

£500 sounds like twice what it's worth with just a month's ticket on it and no tax.

just my opinion of course :)

If all it needs is a service and a dis pack, then it gotta be worth £350 all day
IMO

Rust, definately.......!!

Looks like 2 sets of 3 holes have been drilled into the bootlid, one either side

Got to be worth £500 of anyones money......!!

Look at it this way, if you get it for £350 and can drive it home after putting a new DIS You'll easily make that in spares.
