Title: Another fleabay 'bargain' :-)
Post by: Hannah Judes Dad on 02 February 2010, 15:21:13
What are the stickers hiding on this one? and the badly fitted stereo...... ;D   http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/1997-VAUXHALL-OMEGA-ELITE-AUTO-BLACK_W0QQitemZ250572908141QQcmdZViewItemQQptZAutomobiles_UK?hash=item3a574f266d

Hmmm judging by the twin electrics on the tow bar it has pulled a caravan at some point, and judging by the stickers it has probably been thrashed to within an inch of it's life.

Personally would not touch it looking like that.

It may have been worth the starting bid if it were standard, fitting the cheap alloys & self-abuser lights did it no favours at all.

Sorry, to many 'stop me' superpoo's round here. and it just looked similar/wrong to me. I suppose I am guilty of assuming everyone who alters there car to be the same.

I ought to post a picture of my car with it's shiny new chrome grille, you could really rip me to bit's on that.  ;D

The difference between "done by a professional" and "done by a barry" is noticeable by a country mile.

This is what I bought http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=370281666865&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT

I like it, and at the end of the day that's what counts.

Pity you can still see the silver colour of the bonnet through the grill though....if it were mine I would paint that bit black to hide it......

Bit like the idiots that drive around with shiny steel wheels under their cheap plaggy wheeltrims.....

The top row of slots are actually blind holes. And the whole car is a bit dirty at the moment. Sorry for dark pics but I work very long hours.

I asked the question in English, they understood reasonably well. And replied 20 euros for post(DHL). Bit pricey postwise. But if you go for one, watch the exchange rates for a couple of days, try to get the best echange rate possible.

I am not saying it is the best quality, but I like it, and only time will tell quality wise.

And best bet was they take paypal, nice and easy.  :y

I like that, but it needs painting black to hide the silver work behind the grill and therefore clean the whole look up

Its like a girl havng a sexy little skirt on but being able to see her massive Bridget Jones style knickers though it......

Nice looking grill....... :y
