Title: 1999 T Astra MK4 juddery idle
Post by: Del Boy on 09 February 2010, 18:08:08
A mate of mine has got a MK4 astra on a 99 T, it's a 1.6, it's had new plugs and ht leads, it's got a juddery idle, but is better when revved up. I've not had a look at the car personally so can't be more exact, any ideas.

Cheers  :y

You can't see much of the 16 valve cos of a big plastic cover over it all. 8 valve is a very basic engine that was used way back when in earlier in the Astra F and before.

Just re-read your originalpost. If it has HT leads, then it's an 8 valve, the 16 valve has a coil pack similar to the 2.6/3.2 and later DBW 4 pots.

This is an 8 valve ...... http://www.omegaowners.com/forum/YaBB.pl?num=1265657220  :y
