Title: HELP needed on a 2.5 v6 omega on a N plate

can any off you chaps help me i got a N reg omega 2.5 v6 and it been givin me jit the past week, it start but as soon as i put the car in D it conk out. I've been told it's the fuel pump so i changed that but know the car won't turn over :(

do the paperclip test, and post the results (link in my signature)

£1 to 1p there will be a code there that will point you in the right direction (possibly a 19 - Crank sensor)  :y

Disconnect MAF sensor mate and try it then.  If it starts and revs ok you got a dodgy MAF sensor ;)
