Title: Vectra 1.8 year 2000
Post by: Auto Addict on 07 March 2010, 13:06:00
Misfire under load, new plugs fitted last week, which cured the problem.

Back again today.

Plug leads?

The plug leads need eliminating with a resistance check, if that comes back OK then start looking at the coil pack.

I would replace both on principal, if one's on the way the other is sure to follow. (Am loving my 1.8 Vectra at the mo, will be sad to see it go...)

Don't know the outcome, saw the AA van outside his house, worked on it for about 1/2 hour.

Didn't come back to me.

Thanks for your replies, thread is now dead.
