Title: Good Bye Omega........
Post by: johndm1957 on 16 March 2010, 14:58:45
After 8 years of Omega ownership, it's all over.. :'(

I started with a 1998 3.0 Elite which I ran for 4 years, then had a 2002, 2.2 CDX for just a year before the arrival of a 2003, 3.2 Elite which has served well for 3 years. Still running well, but time for something a little newer.
With nothing from VX to replace the Omega, I've just traded the Elite for the only vehicle I could think of with a similar level of toys and power for reasonable money...still made by GM...getting a Cadillac CTS 3.6 auto Luxury Sport.. :y

Hoping the Caddy is as much fun as the Omega(s) have been, and thanks to these forums for solving all my little problems.. 8-)

I wish......it's an 06 car, 23k miles from new for just 6995, everything electric and even rear wheel drive. Interior is inferior to an Omega though...bit plasticy ;D

Did you know that most, if not all, American cars released in Europe have suspension upgrades.

I hired a huge Dodge 300 a couple of years ago in Florida...took it back 24 hrs later and changed it for a Charger. The 300 wallowed around the road more than a hippo in a pool of hot chocolate. It was awefull.

Wouldn't mind the new Challenger though ??

I love those, but unfortuantly if you don't happen to own your own petrol station then could give your wallet a bashing lol
